Parking hardware that works out of the box.

Connect your cameras and gates from the dashboard. Plates open and close sessions, and gates open on the plate.

Works with Verkada, more coming soon

How it connects

Connect once. Assign each device.

Your camera system connects from the dashboard in a few minutes. Cameras and gates come over together, ready to put on a lane.

Providers

Works with leading camera providers.

Verkada connects today. More are on the way, added in the order operators ask for them.

Running something else? Request your provider
Other providers

Running something else? Tell us what it is.

Every request moves a provider up the list. We'll reply with where yours stands.

  • Tell us what you run. The brand and how many lanes is enough to start.

  • Start earning meanwhile. QR payments need no cameras, so the lot runs while hardware is sorted out.

Pricing

No monthly fee. Here's how that works.

Plate recognition and gate control are included in the software. Cameras are the one thing you pay for.

You set

$10.00

Whatever you want.

Driver pays

$11.00

+10% at checkout.

You keep

$10.00

Same as you set.

Card processing comes out, 2.9% + $0.30, like any card payment.

Questions

The ones operators actually ask.

Usually none. QR payments, rates, passes, validations, valet and handheld enforcement run on a printed sign and a phone. Cameras are only needed for license plate recognition at entry and exit, and for opening gates on a plate read.

OpenSpot connects to Verkada LPR cameras and Verkada access control today, directly from the dashboard. More providers are being added, prioritized by what operators run. If you use a different system, tell OpenSpot the brand and number of lanes and the team will tell you where it stands.

If they're Verkada, yes, in minutes. If they're another brand, tell us which: it may already be in progress, or worth scoping together. Either way, QR payments and handheld enforcement work with no cameras, so the lot can start earning while hardware is sorted out.

That's how new providers get added. Operators tell OpenSpot what they run, and the most requested systems are integrated first. Once a provider is added, its cameras and gates work the same way Verkada's do.

In the OpenSpot dashboard, add Verkada as a hardware provider with your API key and org ID. Then add the OpenSpot webhook in Verkada Command with LPR and access control enabled. Cameras and gates sync automatically, and you assign each one to a location and an entry or exit direction.

Yes, if the gate is connected through Verkada access control. A plate read with a valid session or an active pass can open it, and staff can open it manually from the dashboard. Every manual open is logged with a reason.

No. The same plate read can trigger a gate you already have. Some operators remove them later because a gateless lane is cheaper to run, but that's a choice rather than a requirement.

Yes, and most operators do. A QR sign gets the lot earning the same day. Cameras get added once enough regulars or enough unpaid cars justify automating the check.
