Valet parking where the plate is the claim check.

Attendants open a session on the plate and photograph the car at drop-off and return. Guests request it back from their phone, and payment settles when the keys change hands.

How it works

The session starts at the curb.

Where it earns its place

Which operators need valet software?

Valet parking software tracks each attended vehicle from drop-off to return: who handed it over, what condition it was in, where it is, and what they owe. It earns its place anywhere someone hands over keys and expects the car back without a fuss.

Hotels and restaurants.

Guests arrive in a cluster and leave in one. Every car sits on its plate in one list, so two attendants clear a rush that needed four.

Venues on event nights.

Attended parking for a few hours, with the same sessions and the same dashboard as the rest of the lot.

Residential buildings with a doorman.

Condition photos at both ends are the record that settles a damage claim three weeks later.

Probably not you if your rush is two cars at a time. Valet is the only feature here that needs staff standing by.

Questions

The ones operators actually ask.

Their own phone. The dashboard works in a mobile browser, so there's nothing to buy, mount or charge at the stand.

The attendant opens it on the plate. The guest scans a code, verifies a phone number and enters the plate, and the session attaches to them.

Requests appear on the dashboard and an attendant claims one, so each request has a single owner and two people don't fetch the same car.

Vehicle condition at drop-off and again at return, both attached to the same session with timestamps. If a damage claim arrives weeks later you have a record from both ends of the visit.

No. We track the session and the vehicle. Key location isn't something OpenSpot manages, so if you use a key management system it stays separate.

At return. The session stays open while the car is with you and settles when it's handed back, for the time actually used.

Valet parking software replaces the paper ticket and the podium clipboard. It records each attended vehicle as a session tied to the license plate, holds condition photos from drop-off and return, lets the guest request their car from their own phone, and charges them when the car is handed back.

Neither is supported yet. A guest pays once, at return, for the time the car was actually with you. There is no tipping step in the flow and no way to take payment before the car is handed back.
